Dear Member,
Copies of the Annual Report have been thudding onto door mats around the world, and I hope you are enjoying pouring over the photos and race reports from last season. It is all thanks to Annabel Kettler, who has done a completely brilliant job putting it all together, and it is no small task. Bravo Bells!
Melissa Michel has taken some fantastic photographs of the London Revolution Ball. The gallery can be viewed and images purchased here:
'A Night of Revolution' Cresta Ball 2025
The Ball Committee would like to extend their enormous thanks to the wonderful drink sponsors; Noam Beer, Fishers Gin and Nyetimber, and to all the generous prize donors. It would not have been possible without you.
Looking ahead to the Season there are some exciting events in the calendar. Please note, there will be no Lowe Portago dinner this year, primarily down to the date being the evening before New Years Eve.
This year sees the 3rd edition of the 18-25 year olds dinner. Due to its huge popularity it is also open to those below* and beyond that age bracket. This year it is being organised by Alex Kriemler and will take place in the Kulm Hotel on 29th December at 19.30.
Please follow this link for more information and to buy tickets:

*any U18s will require the permission of their parents to attend and no one will be ‘responsible’ for them.
The auction for the Fairchild’s MacCarthy team race will take place at 6pm on Sunday 28th December, in the Kulm Hotel. Everyone is welcome to attend, even those not riding the in race. Please keep in mind that this is a key fundraising evening for the Club, so please feel able to invite any friends or house guests that you think might enjoy a flutter…
A note from Rev. Canon J. Douglas Ousley:
Our 155th season begins on Christmas Eve at 11pm with the traditional Midnight Mass in the Dorf Church. On Christmas Day, we have an informal Carol Service. Family and friends, including infrequent churchgoers are welcome as well.
Regular Sunday evening services will begin at 6 pm and usually will be followed by a wine reception. Further details can be found on our new website, www.stmoritzanglicans.org.
The Petra Gut Gallery in St Moritz Bad would like to extend the invitation (below) to the opening of David Yarrow’s exhibition. Friday 19th December 18.30-20.30 with an artist's talk at 19.15.
If you would like to be kept informed of the daily going-ons throughout the season, we send a Daily Results email which includes a missive with the excitements on and off the Run and the day’s time sheet. Should you not already subscribe to this and you would like to, please head to the ‘My Account’ section of the website where you can update your contact preferences.
With best wishes,
Tilly MacDonald
