November Cocktail Party & Thoma Club Lunch

Dear Member,

The leaves are beginning to fall, the days are getting shorter, and your Annual Reports are currently being printed and bound, ready for dispatch towards the end of October. It is the time of year when Cresta Riders start to look forward to their first dart of the season down our beloved Cresta Run – or perhaps have their first scary dream of standing in the start Box at Top Hut.

It will soon be time to reconvene at the November Cocktail Party in London. It is the perfect opportunity to see friends, share news of the summer and coordinate St Moritz dates. For those of you unable to make it to the Run this year, it is also your chance to get your Cresta fix from the convenience of London.

This year, the drinks conveniently coincide with the Thoma Club lunch at the same venue, so Thoma Club Members can seamlessly move from the dining room into the reception room of the Turf Club without having to step foot outside.

Both events will take place on Thursday 12th November.

Cocktail Party

Time: 6.30pm - 8.30pm

£50 over 30s

£30 under 30s

Dress Code: Jacket & tie / evening attire. (No jeans)

The cost of the tickets will go on your Cresta Bill. All bills will be sent out in early October. If you pay your bill via Direct Debit, any ticket requests after that time will be payable via bank transfer / credit card.

There is capacity for 200 of you, so we encourage you all to come for a fun pre-season gathering!

Thoma Club Lunch

The Thoma AGM, at which traditionally no business is discussed, will take place at The Turf Club, 5 Carlton House Terrace, London SW1Y 5AQ, at 12:30 for 13:00 hrs on Thursday 12th November.  The cost per ticket will be £125.  If you would like to attend, please email stephenbartley48@gmail.com. To confirm, only 40 places are available.
